### Resonate Church Prayer Team Plan

The Prayer Team at Resonate Church is a vital ministry, entrusted with the sacred responsibility of carrying the concerns and requests of the Resonate family before God. Your role as a prayer team member is to stand in the gap for the church, seeking God’s wisdom, healing, and provision for individuals and the community as a whole.

#### **Purpose**
The purpose of the Prayer Team is twofold:
1. **Interceding for Resonate as an organization:** You will regularly pray for the church’s ministries, leadership, events, and vision.
2. **Interceding for the people:** Most of your prayer focus will be on individuals within the church. This includes both general and specific prayer requests, which may involve sensitive or personal matters.

#### **Confidentiality**
As a member of the Prayer Team, you are entrusted with highly personal information. It is essential that you uphold the utmost confidentiality:
- Prayer requests are to be **kept private** and shared only within the team.
- **Do not discuss** prayer requests with others outside the team unless explicitly given permission by the person requesting prayer.
- Follow-up on prayer requests may occur occasionally, but in many cases, you will not receive updates. Be faithful in your prayers even when updates are infrequent.

#### **Communication and Requests**
1. **Weekly Prayer Letter:** Every Monday, a prayer letter will be sent out to the Prayer Team via email. This letter will include a summary of prayer needs for that week.
2. **Immediate Requests:** In cases where urgent prayer is needed, you will receive direct communication via text message. Please respond to these requests promptly with prayer.
3. **Ongoing Communication:** If you feel distressed or have concerns regarding the nature of the requests or the individuals involved, please communicate directly with Pastor Nick Vuicich. It is not uncommon to feel the weight of others' burdens, and support will be provided when needed.

#### **Role Expectations**
- **Pray Regularly:** Team members are asked to pray regularly and often, both for the church as a whole and for specific prayer needs.
- **Confidentiality:** Always maintain the trust of those requesting prayer by keeping their information private.
- **Communication:** Engage with weekly prayer letters and respond promptly to urgent prayer requests.

#### **Support for Team Members**
We understand that the role of intercessory prayer can sometimes carry emotional weight. If you find yourself feeling distressed or overwhelmed, you are encouraged to reach out to Pastor Nick or another trusted leader within the church. The church is here to support you in this ministry.

By participating in the Prayer Team, you are playing a critical role in the spiritual health and growth of Resonate Church. Thank you for your faithfulness in bringing the needs of our family before God.
