Meet Our Team

Nick Vuicich is the Lead Pastor of Resonate, where he brings a deep love for Jesus, a gift for teaching, and a vision for what the Church can be. A native Austinite, Nick has been in ministry for over 25 years. In 2002, he met Kathryn, and the two have been inseparable ever since. After years of waiting and a lot of science, they welcomed their daughter Elyse into the world in 2015—one of the greatest joys of their lives.

After moving back to Texas in 2016, Nick felt God stirring something new in his heart: a vision for a church rooted in honesty, depth, and grace. He and Kathryn began gathering people in their living room, and Resonate officially launched in late 2017.

Nick is passionate about seeing pastors stay healthy and churches grow in emotional, spiritual, and relational health. He’s a thoughtful leader, a gifted communicator, and someone who believes the Church should be both healing and hopeful. When he’s not writing sermons or pastoring people, you’ll likely find him in the kitchen, at the gym, enjoying a good glass of wine, or rewatching Marvel movies.

Trey serves as our Associate Pastor, bringing a deep love for Jesus, a gift for preaching, and a heart for people on the margins. After spending nearly four decades chasing the American Dream, Trey discovered it wasn’t all it promised to be. In 2013, God got a hold of his heart and gave him a new dream—one rooted in grace, purpose, and the hope of Christ. He’s been following that path ever since.

Casey Coleman serves as Resonate’s Worship Ministry Director, where she brings a heart for Jesus, a gift for music, and a deep sensitivity to the movement of the Holy Spirit. More than just picking songs, Casey thoughtfully crafts worship experiences that invite our community into honest, Spirit-led encounters with God.

Originally from Texas, Casey moved back in 2022 with her husband, Phil, and their two joys—Nora and Jack. She’s a passionate worshipper, a loving mom, and a proud Texas A&M fan (who somehow still gets along with the Longhorns around here).

Casey’s approach to worship is holistic and grounded—blending theological depth, emotional honesty, and pastoral care into every service she leads. Her voice, both in song and in presence, helps create space for healing, reflection, and connection with God.

Brian Kennedy serves as our Missions Director, leading with a servant’s heart and a “go first” attitude that sets the tone for our entire team. Whether it’s organizing a packing party, supporting local partners, or jumping in wherever there’s a need, Brian is quick to volunteer and steady in his commitment to loving others well.

Originally from Michigan, Brian is a lifelong Lions fan—finally enjoying the payoff of years of loyal fandom. Before stepping into ministry, he spent years in the world of tech sales, bringing a strategic mindset and strong relational skills to his current role. He began attending Resonate in 2021 and took the lead on our missions efforts in 2025.

Brian is the proud dad of Grace and Henry, and when he’s not serving others, you’ll likely find him hanging with his kids, repping Detroit sports, or quietly doing the work that helps others shine.
